Cara Research Keyword

Ini adalah langkah pertama sekaligus langkah terpenting dalam memulai atau membangun sebuah situs. Cara ini adalah tujuan nya menemukan atau meriset sebuah kata kunci yang berpotensi yang bisa mendatangkan banyak trafik ke dalam situs kita tetapi masih sedikit kompetisi disana, sehingga tehnik SEO kita tidak terlalu sulit. Untuk meriset sebuah kata kunci kita menggunakan google keyword tool external. 

Pertama saya akan membuka : https://adwords.google.com/o/KeywordTool‎

Kedua Jika anda mempunyai account google silakan sign-in terlebih dahulu, kemudian menentukan niche yang kita targetkan. Untuk menentukan niche anda bisa mulai dari apa yang anda ketahui atau apa yang menjadi hobby anda terlebih dahulu. Misalkan niche "Membuat Blog" . Karena untuk "blog" sendiri adalah suatu yang online, artinya setiap orang yang akan mencari sesuatu tentang "blog atau membuat blog" kemungkinan besar mereka akan mencari di search engine.

Kemudian klik bagian “advance option dan Filter”. Lalu saya pilih untuk Locations > Indonesia dan Language > Indonesia ( karena yang saya bidik market local ).

 Pada bagian “filter” setting Global Monthly Searches > 500 (karena saya mau trafik yang lumayan banyak dari search engine). Kemudian saya klik “search”

Selanjutnya Google akan memberikan ide-ide (Keyword Ideas) untuk dipilih sebagai keyword blog anda nantinya.

Langkah selanjutnya, kita akan pilih 10 – 15 kata kunci yang diberikan google tersebut, dengan cara  check/centang untuk kata kunci yang saya akan pilih.

 

Setelah memilih 10 buah kata kunci yang diberikan google, download terlebih dahulu kata kunci yang saya pilih/centang tadi. Kemudian simpan dalam CSV file.

Setelah file didownload lalu file tersebut buka dan copy kata kunci yang di download tadi.

Selanjutnya setelah di copy, kata kunci tersebut paste kembali kedalam kotak “word or phrase” untuk di riset lagi kata kunci tersebut.

Lalu pilih Match Types pencarian menjadi tipe [Exact].

Selanjutnya akan ada perubahan pada kotak “search term”. Pada bagian ini saya akan filter lagi keyword-keyword tersebut sehingga mendapatkan keyword yang memiliki potensi trafik yang tinggi dan kompetisi yang masih bisa untuk bersaing dengan cepat menggunakan teknik SEO nanti.
